It is our 50th!!!

*OUR 50TH CELEBRATION HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO LATER IN THE YEAR; STAY TUNED FOR THE DATE!*

The Fort St. John Association for Community Living is 50 this year. To commemorate this milestone we are having a 50th Celebration on June 5th at the NP Cultural Centre.

We'll start in the afternoon from 1 to 4 with informational booths and mini-workshops. Come see what it might feel like to have a disability - or join in on a little drumming. The afternoon is for all ages.

Then go home and get dressed up for the evening part:

The evening starts at 5:30 with cocktails, then a roast beef buffet feast at 6:00 with wine sponsored by Sharp Environmental. Guest motivational speaker, Travis McNally, speaks about 'Lifes Curves' during dessert. Then over to the theatre for a presentation of 'The Melancholy Minstrel' written and directed by Cynthia Livingstone and presented by our own FSJ Players. Back to the carpet room to showcase various dance group preformances from our community of FSJ, a cash bar, and a dance with music provided by Mohart Music.
It's a semi-formal affair - medieval dress and a mask if you dare. (There will be some masks for sale, made by some creative individuals)
The cost for the evening is $40 and tickets are available at our office at 10251 100 Ave. Please get your ticket by May 28. The evening is for 19+.

SO COME - CELEBRATE WITH US!
